Millis Garden Club Bulb Sale Ends August 13

Millis, MA. The Millis Garden Club’s 3rd Annual Bulb and Plant Fundraising Project is now in full bloom but will end August 13. Proceeds from this fundraiser benefit the Club’s community beautification project called Catch Our Drift, when each Fall hundreds of daffodil bulbs are planted in “drifts” along town land. As a result, every Spring, Millis residents – as well as our neighbors visiting or driving through town – will be able to enjoy early splashes of golden splendor.

MGC offers an exceptional selection of premium daffodil and daylily bulbs which will be available for planting in September and October. The Bulb and Plant Order Form can be viewed on-line and printed from the Club’s website www.millisgardenclub.org. The site also contains color images and full descriptions of each of the plants. Order forms may also be obtained at Veterans Memorial Building (Clerk’s Office) and the Millis Public Library. To support our fundraising project, please send your completed order form along with payment to MGC, P.O. Box 535, Millis, MA 02054. Bulbs and plants will be hand delivered within 15 miles of Millis, or if beyond, special shipping arrangements will be made. We do welcome orders from outside Millis.

We invite Millis residents to catch our drift! Consider ordering bulbs from our fundraiser and planting drifts of daffodils in your yards where the public can view them. Along roadsides and under a canopy of trees are perfect places to plant drifts of bulbs. To make a dramatic impact on the landscape, drifts are usually planted in greater quantities. For those who wish to participate in our Catch our Drift Program, we are offering exceptional prices for daffodil orders in large quantities.

Cash donations are always welcome throughout the year to support this civic beautification project. Checks may be mailed to MGC Catch Our Drift, P.O. Box 535, Millis, MA 02054.   Your generous support toward this project will allow MGC to continue its efforts to enhance the beauty of our town
